AUGREEN Blocks act as natural air quality regulators to maintain comfortable indoor temperature and relative humidity. AUGREEN Blocks are integrated solution for fulfilling various requirements such as high quality of products and services, shorter project time, lower costs, safer sites, better appearance, faster and easier installation and simpler coordination.

Installation Demonstration and Features

Light Weight

Gypsum is a light-weight material that weighs less than half of the weight of cement, making AUGREEN Blocks easier to be transported. The total dead load of a 20-story building is estimated to be over 1,000 tonnes less than a cement building.

Space Saver

AUGREEN Blocks are made to be light and thin, compared to a 100mm-thick concrete wall with 2 layers of 15mm-thick plastering, AUGREEN Blocks save 50mm with an 80mm-thick wall. Thinner walls also mean that the practical area in a building will be enlarged.

Tough and Strong

AUGREEN Blocks may be light and thin, however, a 100mm-thick AUGREEN Block can be built up to 7-metre high & 150mm-thick AUGREEN Block can be built up to 8-metre high without any steel stiffeners. No door / opening lintels are required for openings less than 2-metre wide.

Sound Insulation

AUGREEN walls are sound-proof; an 80mm-thick AUGREEN Block Wall can achieve an equivalent sound insulation performance of a 100mm-thick concrete wall. 58 Sound Transmission Class (STC) can be achieved by two 80mm+20mm rock wool.

Fire Resistance

Safety is one of our first priorities, our 80mm and 100mm/150mm AUGREEN Blocks have passed the 2 hours and 4 hours Fire Resistant Poly (FRP) test respectively.

Quick Installation
AUGREEN Blocks are easy to be moved due to its size and light-weight features, they are also very easy to install. No plastering, no steel frames, accesses can be chased afterwards, AUGREEN blocks can be installed 50% faster compared to concrete blocks, which require plastering, steel framing and rubbish handling. 15-20m² can be built per man day and painting works can start 2-3days after the building of AUGREEN Block walls.

As the 1st wall partition in Hong Kong, AUGREEN Block Wall System is very honoured to receive numbers of sustainability awards including the “Merit Award” of Building Product Section of Green Building Award 2012 and the “Green Innovation Awards” of Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence (HKAEE).

Load-bearing

AUGREEN Blocks are very rebust and allows users to decorate the way they want. AUGREEN Blocks has a Shear Stress of 1.4MPa and a Tensile Strength of 1.4-2.5MPa, each anchor can bear up to 100lbs.
